There's one thing that has been on my bucket list for a long time and that is going to see the Aurora Borealis, also known as the Northern Lights. I am heading out this weekend for Fairbanks to see what I can see. I was wondering if there was such a thing as a "forecast" for the Northern Lights, so I did a search:

The best result was the second one from the Geophysical Institute.

Even though this year is a good year to see the Northern Lights, next week is not looking too good. Oh well. We'll see.
